Representative Salud Carbajal has expressed concern through recent social media posts regarding various national and local issues. Carbajal, who represents California's 24th district, addressed topics ranging from administrative policy decisions affecting educational services to challenges faced by local businesses and wildfire risk mitigation efforts.

On April 8, 2025, Carbajal criticized the closure of California's regional Head Start office, an action attributed to the Trump Administration. "The Trump Administration's disastrous decision to close California's regional Head Start office will hold our children back and hold our country’s future back," Carbajal stated, referencing a conversation with KCLU radio, where he raised concerns over this decision's impact on the future of children's education in the region.

Later the same day, Carbajal participated in a roundtable discussion with the South Coast Chamber of Commerce. "I recently joined the South Coast Chamber of Commerce’s roundtable discussion with Central Coast business leaders, who shared how this Administration’s policies, from tariffs to funding cuts, have caused extreme unpredictability," he mentioned in a tweet, highlighting how businesses are experiencing delays in making investments due to these policies.

On April 9, 2025, Carbajal turned his attention to wildfire prevention in Southern California, advocating for legislative action. He announced his collaboration with other representatives to introduce a bill aimed at mitigating wildfire risk. "As Southern California continues to recover from the recent devastating wildfires, we need to take action now to reduce future wildfire risk," Carbajal tweeted, showing his commitment to addressing this ongoing concern.
