Congressman Salud Carbajal, who represents California's 24th district, has shared recent developments and engagements through social media. Carbajal, with a history of public service in the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors and current tenure in U.S. Congress since 2017, posted updates regarding local tourism, opportunities for students, and a personal acknowledgment towards a friend's health.

On April 4, 2025, Carbajal highlighted the attractiveness of the Central Coast as a tourist spot. In a meeting with representatives from Santa Barbara and Visit SLOCAL, he discussed initiatives aimed at supporting the local tourism sector. "The Central Coast is home to so many incredible travel destinations that draw in visitors from around the world. I met with @SantaBarbara and @VisitSLOCAL to discuss how we can work together to support local tourism."

In an outreach to high school students on April 5, 2025, Carbajal encouraged participation in the annual Congressional Art Competition. He emphasized the opportunity for students to exhibit their artwork at the U.S. Capitol, noting the submission deadline as April 16, 2025. In a personal note on April 6, 2025, Carbajal extended his well wishes to Santa Barbara City Councilman Eric Friedman, following a recent health issue. He conveyed the message via Twitter, expressing hope for Friedman’s swift recovery. "Grateful that my friend, Santa Barbara City Councilman Eric Friedman, is on the mend after a health scare this weekend. Gina and I are keeping him and his family in our thoughts and wishing him a speedy recovery."
