Rep. Salud Carbajal, representing California's 24th district in the U.S. Congress, has taken to social media to address pressing issues related to the Treasury Department and reproductive rights. In a series of tweets, Carbajal expressed his concerns and actions alongside fellow Democrats.

On February 7, 2025, Rep. Carbajal announced his demand for answers from the Treasury Department regarding access and authority related to DOGE, as well as potential data risks. He stated: "I'm demanding answers from the Treasury Department: What access does DOGE have? What authority are they using to justify that access? What data is at risk? I joined @RepCasten and 150+ other @HouseDemocrats to demand this accountability."

In a subsequent tweet on the same day, Carbajal emphasized holding the Treasury accountable by setting a deadline for their investigation. He wrote: "We're putting Treasury on notice, and giving them a deadline. Read the full list of what we're investigating "

Later that day, Carbajal highlighted efforts by House Democrats concerning reproductive rights legislation in response to actions taken by former President Donald Trump. He tweeted: "Donald Trump spent his week scrubbing contraception prescription information off the CDC website — 200 @HouseDemocrats and I spent ours reintroducing the Right to Contraception Act. Proud to stand w/@ReproCaucus and your right to the birth control method of your choice."
