Rep. Salud Carbajal engages with community through multiple events

Rep. Salud Carbajal, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing California's 24th district since 2017, recently shared updates on various community engagements through a series of tweets.

On March 20, Rep. Carbajal highlighted his meeting with "24 talented individuals from SLO, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties" at the UA Local 114 12th Annual Plumbers, Pipefitters, Welders Apprenticeship Contest in Buellton. He expressed pride in representing the Central Coast's diverse talent pool "It was great meeting 24 talented individuals from SLO, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties at the UA Local 114 12th Annual Plumbers, Pipefitters, Welders Apprenticeship Contest in Buellton."

On March 21, he visited the San Ysidro Pharmacy and acknowledged its longstanding service to the community. Rep. Carbajal appreciated their commitment to healthcare and support for local residents "Stopped by the San Ysidro Pharmacy — a locally owned pharmacy that has been serving our community for over 60 years."

Continuing his outreach efforts on March 23, Rep. Carbajal attended the first annual Women’s Veterans Celebration and Resource Fair hosted by the San Luis Obispo County Veterans Service Office and VA SLO Vet Center. He praised women veterans on the Central Coast for their remarkable achievements "Stopped by the first annual Women’s Veterans Celebration and Resource Fair hosted by the San Luis Obispo County Veterans Service Office and the VA SLO Vet Center."
