Rep. Salud Carbajal, representing California's 24th district in the U.S. Congress, shared several statements via social media on November 19, 2024. His comments addressed issues related to federal student aid, government transparency, and congressional governance.

"Last year, the rollout of the new FAFSA form created major issues for Central Coast families."

Later that day, Carbajal emphasized the importance of transparency in holding elected officials accountable. Alongside Rep. Sean Casten, he urged the House Ethics Committee to release its report on Matt Gaetz without delay. He argued that Americans have a right to know details about individuals who might assume significant roles such as Attorney General.
