On November 18, 2024, Rep. Carbajal expressed his support for the Head Start program at CommUnifySB in Lompoc. He stated: "All the high fives at @CommUnifySB’s Head Start in Lompoc! The far-right has put Head Start in its crosshairs for severe budget cuts before. As a former Head Start employee, I’m committed to safeguarding this vital program from the next Administration."
Later that day, he highlighted financial support brought to a local business through legislative efforts: "Thanks to the CHIPs Act, I helped bring home $283,000 for Photothermal Spectroscopy Corp., which makes critical tools for our semiconductor industry. Innovative businesses on the Central Coast can count on me to defend & support them next Congress."
