City of El Paso De Robles issued the following announcement on May 22.
On Wednesday, June 22, 10 am in the Library Conference Room, join Sylvia Hambly and the dancers of Hālau Hula Na Mele o ke Kai and explore the art of hula!
Hula dancing is a complex art form and there are many hand motions and foot and hip movements used to represent the words in a song or chant.
Get a taste of Hawaiian culture, music, language, and dance in this fun program for all ages. Na Mele o ke Kai is based out of San Luis Obispo and welcomes all interested individuals who want to experience the language and traditions of Polynesian cultures.
