Census Bureau: More men than women in San Luis Obispo city in 2020

Of the 47,402 people living in San Luis Obispo city in 2020, 48.6 percent (23,022) were women and 51.4 percent (24,380) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SLO Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 1,878. In the 65 and over age range, there were 3,523 females and 2,895 males.
