Rep. Salud Carbajal, currently serving in the U.S. Congress for California's 24th district, shared a series of tweets addressing various issues and initiatives on March 10 and 11, 2025.

On March 10, Rep. Carbajal expressed his support for Ben Vizzachero, a wildlife biologist formerly with Los Padres National Forest. In his tweet, he stated: "Ben Vizzachero was a dedicated wildlife biologist for the @LosPadresNF who unjustly lost his job at the hands of the Trump Administration and Elon Musk." He highlighted how meeting Vizzachero shed light on the impact of mass layoffs and funding cuts on environmental protection efforts.

On March 11, Rep. Carbajal invited nominations for the Congressional Women of the Year awards through another tweet: "Have you met an incredible woman on the Central Coast who's changing lives and inspiring others?" He encouraged people to nominate impactful women from the Central Coast region to honor their contributions.

Later that day, Carbajal addressed concerns about funding cuts affecting veterans' benefits and other social programs. He tweeted: "If being a 'chaos agent' means we're fighting back against slashes to funding for Veterans' benefits, Medicaid, Social Security, affordable housing, and more, then so be it." He emphasized that despite Republican control over major governmental branches, passing necessary legislation remains challenging.
