Rep. Salud Carbajal, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing California's 24th district since 2017, recently shared updates on infrastructure investments and raised concerns about government oversight through a series of tweets.

On January 25, 2025, Rep. Carbajal tweeted about his visit to Goleta to highlight an "$11 million investment in walkable infrastructure." He noted that "thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law," a new pedestrian underpass would "connect residents in Old Town Goleta to expanded education, employment, and housing opportunities."
