Rep. Salud Carbajal, who has been serving California's 24th district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, recently shared a series of reflections and well-wishes on social media. Carbajal, originally from Moroleón, Guanajuato and now residing in Santa Barbara, posted about local matters and personal insights.

On November 27, 2024, Carbajal expressed his sentiments regarding the closure of Robitaille’s Fine Candies in Carpinteria after 36 years of operation. He noted its historical significance by mentioning that "they even provided the Presidential Inauguration mints for Ronald Reagan’s inauguration." He thanked the Robitaille family for their contributions to the community. The full post can be accessed here.

The following day, on November 28, 2024, Carbajal reflected on his election to Congress in 2016 coinciding with Donald Trump's presidential victory. Acknowledging ongoing challenges, he reaffirmed his commitment to defending Central Coast values. His statement reads: "I will continue fighting for and defending the values of the Central Coast, always." Further details are available here.

Later that day, Rep. Carbajal extended Thanksgiving greetings to residents of the Central Coast. His message was one of gratitude and community spirit: "May this be a time filled with gratitude, great food, and time spent with loved ones." The original tweet is linked here.
