Rep. Salud Carbajal, currently serving in the U.S. Congress for California’s 24th district, has recently shared several insights on his social media platform regarding political priorities and local governance. With a background that includes significant experience in Santa Barbara County government prior to his congressional role, Carbajal often addresses topics relevant to his constituents.

On November 26, 2024, Rep. Carbajal emphasized the commitment of House Democrats to prioritize the needs of working Americans. He stated, "Los Demócratas de la Cámara siempre priorizaremos las necesidades de los Estadounidenses trabajadores." Further asserting their stance against rising living costs and ensuring accountability from large corporations and billionaires.

Later that day, he reflected on his previous tenure with the Santa Barbara County government, expressing admiration for Mona Miyasato's executive capabilities. In his words, "I can say w/confidence that Mona Miyasato is one of the most talented public executives I have ever met." He thanked her for her leadership as SB County Executive Officer.
