City of San Luis Obispo issued the following announcement on Apr. 7. 

ORDINANCE NO.  1710 (2022 SERIES)

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10, CHAPTER 36 (STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING FOR CERTAIN PURPOSES OR IN CERTAIN PLACES), OF THE SAN LUIS OBISPO MUNICIPAL CODE ALLOWING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF LIMITED DAYTIME USE PERMITS IN THE DANA STREET PARKING DISTRICT

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo, California, at its Regular Meeting of March 15, 2022, introduced the above titled Ordinance upon a motion by Mayor Stewart, second by Council Member Marx, and on the following roll call vote:

AYES: Council Member Marx, Shoresman, and Mayor Stewart

NOES: Council Member Christianson

RECUSED: Council Member Pease

Ordinance No. 1710 (2022 Series) – This is a City Ordinance to amend Title 10 Chapter 36 of the Municipal Code to include the following changes:

• Added language allowing for commercial properties on or immediately adjacent to Dana Street to be eligible to receive limited daytime use permits; and

• Added language establishing that limited daytime use permits are eligible for use in the Dana Street Parking District on hours and days set forth in the resolution that established the district; and

• Added language that qualifying commercial properties on or immediately adjacent to Dana Street are eligible to receive up to two permits per addressed unit.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of San Luis Obispo will consider adopting the Ordinance at its Regular Meeting of April 19, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo. The City Council meeting will be televised live on Charter Cable Channel 20 and live streaming on the City’s YouTube channel https://youtube.slo.city. Public comment, prior to the start of the meeting, may be submitted in writing to the City Clerk’s Office, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401 or by email to emailcouncil@slocity.org.
