CITY OF ARROYO GRANDE: Virtual Turkey Trot Fun Run

City of Arroyo Grande issued the following announcement on Nov. 10

The Recreation Services Department is pleased to announce that the 43rd Annual Turkey Trot Fun Run sponsored by Arroyo Grande Lions Club is going virtual this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. This exciting virtual event is only $5 per participant and set for children in Preschool-8th Grades. Event registration is open and timed submissions will be accepted November 15th-22nd, at the runner’s time and location of choice. Winners will be notified on November 23rd with prize pick up information.

Each Virtual Turkey Trot Fun Run participant will receive a free T-Shirt and the chance to win additional prizes for every grade level/division: 1st place - frozen turkey, 2nd place - frozen chicken, and 3rd place - frozen Cornish game hen. Boys and girls run the same race distance while competing for prizes in separate divisions. For additional information and to register, visit www.arroyogrande.org/catalog.
