On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Templeton High School standout Madison George’s current college team, the Western New Mexico Mustangs, lost 3-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Pittsburg State Gorillas.
The game took place at Tom Heath Field at Lawson Plaza. This was their first matchup against the Gorillas this season.
The Mustangs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. at The Yard against Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas.
