Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) Pipelines.
What To Expect: Paving and striping work is scheduled to occur in the following areas on Quintana

Please follow all posted signage and construction crew member directions, and please plan extra time when traveling on Quintana Road. Street parking will be temporarily closed on Quintana Road during paving, and traffic control will be set up and moved with the paving equipment.
When: Paving and striping work is currently scheduled for Quintana Road from 7 a.m. to
5:30 p.m. Additional paving activities will be scheduled in February 2023 on Quintana
Road, Main Street and Atascadero Road.
Why: The City of Morro Bay’s WRF Program includes replacement of the City’s existing wastewater treatment plant with an advanced water purification facility that meets state regulations, protects the environment, and will be capable of contributing a drought buffer and a safe and reliable water source for Morro Bay’s homes and businesses in the future.
The City is committed to clear communication and providing up-to-date information about construction activities. Please contact wrfinfo@morrobayca.gov or 877-MORROBAYH2O with questions about the City’s WRF Program, and a team member will get back to you within one business day.
