Buena Park Police Department issued the following announcement on June 8.
On Saturday June 8, 2022, at approximately 8:24 pm, officers from the Buena Park Police Department responded to Beach Boulevard and Cascade Way regarding a traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. Upon arrival, officers located an injured male, who was pronounced deceased.
Thus far, the preliminary investigation indicates this was a hit-and-run incident involving a white four-door sedan. The vehicle fled northbound Beach Boulevard and the investigation is ongoing.
The Buena Park Police Department asks anyone who witnessed the collision or has information to contact the Buena Park Police Department’s Traffic Bureau at (714) 562-3941.
