Beginning December 15, 2025, Scott Street in El Paso De Robles will be closed to traffic during daytime hours from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for construction activities. The closure will affect the section of Scott Street between Creston Road and Via Ramona, and is expected to last until the end of January. The road will reopen each evening and on weekends.
The City stated, “Starting December 15th, 2025, Scott Street will be closed during daytime hours (7am – 5pm) for construction work. The full daytime road closure will occur on Scott Street between Creston Rd and Via Ramona. The closure is anticipated to carry through the end of January with the roadway open at the end of each day and weekends. Message boards and temporary construction signage will be provided for a detour route. The detour will use Santa Ynez to Via Ramona during construction hours.”
The project involves upgrades to the sewer mainline as part of the City’s master plan improvements, which are being built by the Vinedo development located on the east side of El Paso De Robles. These upgrades are intended to increase capacity and add new infrastructure for the city’s eastern sewer system.
During work hours, restrooms at Sherwood Park will also be closed; signs will be posted on restroom doors notifying park users. However, access to both Veteran and Senior Center driveways along Scott Street will remain available throughout this phase of construction.
Additionally, “The bus stop will be temporary relocated on Scott Street and is being coordinated with SLO RTA,” according to information from the City.
