On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Atascadero High School standout Anthony Cannavino’s current college team, the Newman Jets, won 12-10 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Colorado Christian Cougars.
The game took place at All Star Park. This was their third matchup against the Cougars this season.
The Jets’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at McCarthy Field against Northeastern State Riverhawks.
