Rep. Salud Carbajal, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing California’s 24th district since 2017, recently shared a series of updates and personal reflections on social media. His posts highlighted both his engagement with local leaders and his response to significant events affecting his colleagues.

On March 13, Rep. Carbajal expressed enthusiasm about hosting local leaders in Washington, D.C., stating “Thrilled to welcome @CountyofSLO Supervisor Dawn Ortiz-Legg and Supervisor Heather Moreno to my office in Washington!” He emphasized the importance of collaborating with Central Coast leaders on community issues.

Later that day, Carbajal shared a heartfelt message mourning the passing of a fellow congressman. He wrote “I am heartbroken by the loss of my dear friend, Congressman Raul Grijalva.” Rep. Carbajal praised Grijalva’s advocacy for Arizona and environmental justice.

The following day, March 14, he invited constituents to an upcoming town hall meeting in Ventura via social media: “Join me this Monday in Ventura for a town hall where I will be giving updates and taking your questions.” The event is scheduled for March 17 at Poinsettia Pavilion.
