Rep. Salud Carbajal, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 24th district since 2017, recently posted a series of updates on his social media account highlighting local achievements and ongoing political issues.

Salud Carbajal has represented California’s Central Coast in Congress since succeeding Lois Capps in 2017. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors from 2005 until his election to federal office. Born in Moroleón, Guanajuato in 1964 and currently residing in Santa Barbara, Carbajal graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a BA in 1990.
