On March 31, 2025, Carbajal extended a greeting to those celebrating Eid al-Fitr in the Central Coast region. He wrote, “Eid Mubarak to all who celebrate on the Central Coast! As the month of Ramadan comes to a close, I want to wish you a joyous Eid al-Fitr! May this day bring you and your loved ones joy and peace.”
In another post on the same day, Carbajal commemorated César E. Chávez, a renowned advocate for farmworkers and justice. Highlighting his personal connection as the son of a farmworker, he announced the introduction of a House Resolution in collaboration with fellow representatives to recognize March 31 as a day honoring Chávez. He stated, “Today, we honor the legacy of César E. Chávez, a champion for farmworkers and justice. As the son of a farmworker myself, I’m proud to introduce a House Resolution alongside @RepLuzRivas, @RepBarragan, @RepGilCisneros, @RepJimmyGomez, and @RepChuyGarcia to recognize March 31 as.”
On April 1, 2025, Carbajal critically addressed former President Donald Trump’s economic policies, particularly concerning new tariffs. He commented on the adverse effects of these tariffs, expressing concerns over their impact on international relations and increasing costs for consumers. Carbajal remarked, “Donald Trump’s promise of a ‘Golden Age’ was nothing but a lie. His impending tariffs are not only straining relationships with our allies, but they’re also destabilizing the market and will drive up costs on everyday goods for hardworking Americans.”
