Rep. Salud Carbajal, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing California’s 24th district, has taken to social media to express his commitments and engagements. The congressman, who replaced Lois Capps in 2017 and has served since then, shared insights on various topics through his recent posts.
On May 4, Carbajal commemorated Military Appreciation Month by acknowledging those who serve the nation. As a veteran himself, he emphasized his dedication to ensuring that service members, veterans, and military families receive due respect and support. He stated: “This Military Appreciation Month, I’m proud to honor all who have and continue to serve our nation. As a veteran myself, I’m committed to ensuring our service members, veterans, and military families receive the appreciation, respect, and support they deserve.”
On May 5, Rep. Carbajal expressed gratitude for speaking at the Carpinteria Community Awards Banquet’s 66th annual event. This occasion celebrates individuals making impactful contributions within their community. In his words: “It was an honor to speak at the 66th Annual Carpinteria Community Awards Banquet. This special event honors individuals and groups who are making a real difference in the community.” He also congratulated Valeria Zamora Susano for being named Jr. Carpinterian of the Year.
Continuing with community engagement on May 6, Carbajal detailed his meeting with Advanced Scientific Concepts in Goleta regarding their advanced imaging technology used by NASA and military applications. Emphasizing innovation on the Central Coast as pivotal for growth: “I had a productive meeting with Advanced Scientific Concepts in Goleta where we discussed their cutting-edge imaging technology…”
Salud Carbajal was born in Moroleón, Guanajuato in 1964 and moved to Santa Barbara where he now resides with his family.
