On May 13, 2025, Carbajal announced that he had led a group of over 90 House Democrats in urging the Israeli government to “immediately resume shipments of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.” He emphasized the urgency by stating that “food, water, and medicine is critically needed at this time,” stressing the importance of action to protect innocent civilian lives.
