On December 8, 2024, Rep. Carbajal expressed his appreciation for Sen. Laphonza Butler’s service over the past year. He stated, “Thank you, @Senlaphonza for your dedicated service to California over the past year.” He also wished her well in her future endeavors.
The following day, on December 9, 2024, Rep. Carbajal issued a warning regarding adverse weather conditions due to Santa Ana winds in Ventura County. He cautioned that these were similar conditions that had previously exacerbated the Mountain Fire last month. He urged residents to stay informed by accessing further information: ” Be aware of dangerous conditions from Santa Ana winds in Ventura County through Tuesday.”
Later on December 9, Rep. Carbajal congratulated Adam Schiff on his new role as California’s Senator. He commended Schiff’s longstanding commitment to California and its working families and looked forward to their continued collaboration: “Congratulations to my friend & colleague Adam Schiff on becoming California’s newest Senator today!”
