Later on December 5, he encouraged exploration of local cuisine with a tweet stating, “Whether you’re looking for coffee, cinnamon rolls, or even Michelin-starred dining, there is never a shortage of tasty bites here on the Central Coast.” He suggested planning a road trip along Highway 101 to enjoy these establishments.

On December 6, Rep. Carbajal reflected on an important historical milestone: “159 years ago today, slavery was abolished in the United States.” He emphasized the ongoing responsibility to build a nation that protects all citizens’ rights.
