Rep. Salud Carbajal, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 24th district since 2017, has used his social media platform to criticize Republican policies and highlight his legislative actions on recent national issues.

On April 16, 2026, Carbajal addressed economic concerns facing American families, stating: “This Tax Day, Republicans are claiming to put money back in the pockets of working people – but their agenda has made everything more expensive for everyday Americans. Tariffs, healthcare cuts, SNAP cuts, and now rising gas prices are hurting families. I will keep pushing to stop https://t.co/nWSlp0njup”.

Later that day, he referenced his stance on foreign policy by announcing: “I voted in favor of the War Powers Resolution to stop Trump’s illegal war. Read my full statement: https://t.co/Iz7vimhJGM”.

On April 17, 2026, Carbajal commented on fuel costs with the message: “Completely out of touch with what families are experiencing at the pump. https://t.co/KhY0IoqL9v”.
