Rep. Salud Carbajal, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 24th district since 2017, recently shared several updates on social media. Carbajal, who was born in Moroleón, Guanajuato in 1964 and resides in Santa Barbara, has been actively serving his community and engaging with constituents through various platforms.

On January 29, 2025, Rep. Carbajal extended his wishes for the Lunar New Year. He stated, “Happy Lunar New Year! Today we celebrate the Year of the Snake, a year of growth, wisdom, and creativity. May your new year be filled with fortune and joy.”

The following day, January 30, 2025, he expressed condolences regarding a tragic incident in Washington. He wrote on social media: “My heart is broken for every family who lost a loved one in the tragic crash in Washington last night. As a member of both the @TransportDems and @HASCDemocrats, I’m committed to a full investigation to understand this deadly accident.”

On January 31, 2025, Rep. Carbajal announced an infrastructure investment for Goleta. He shared that “Goleta is receiving an $11 million investment from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law for new & improved walkable infrastructure!”
