On November 20, Rep. Carbajal reflected on recent weather events affecting the Central Coast, stating: “When winter storms hit the Central Coast, local agencies worked tirelessly to keep our communities safe. As I told the Montecito Water District, I’m committed to passing disaster aid through Congress to ensure our communities & farmers get the relief they need to rebuild.”

In a separate post from the same day, Rep. Carbajal extended birthday wishes to President Biden: “Wishing a very Happy Birthday to @POTUS! Our nation is stronger thanks to your leadership.”

Later that day, Rep. Carbajal announced a major financial grant for water infrastructure: “Proud to announce a $60 MILLION grant from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law for the @CityofVentura’s VenturaWaterPure water recycling program.” This funding is part of ongoing efforts under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
