Rep. Salud Carbajal, who represents California’s 24th district in the U.S. Congress, used his social media platform to address issues related to the ongoing government shutdown, health care costs, and Election Day information for Californians.

I’m working to lower health care costs, keep food on the table, and reopen the government for”.
The following day, on November 3, 2025, he commented on health care affordability in the United States: “America is the only wealthy nation where getting sick can mean going broke.
Republicans’ health care cuts are doubling premiums and handing more power to debt collectors and big corporations.
I am going to keep fighting to put patients over profits.
