On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Morro Bay High School standout Peyton Schemmer’s current college team, the Syracuse Orange, won 4-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UNC Wilmington Seahawks.
The game took place at Boseman Field. This was their second matchup against the Seahawks this season.
The Orange’s next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 10 p.m. at Boseman Field against Le Moyne Dolphins.
