Paso Robles Recreation Services volunteers will hold a free workshop on growing garlic at the Uptown Family Park Community Garden. The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 22, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at 641 36th Street in Paso Robles. People of all ages are invited to attend, and families are encouraged to participate. No registration is required.

The garden has been improved through the efforts of local volunteers and now features a variety of fruits, vegetables, flowers, ornamentals, and plants common to landscaping in the Central Coast area. Monthly workshops take place on the fourth Saturday.

Wyatt Lund, Volunteer Coordinator, stated, “We are thrilled to bring this hands-on, educational workshop to the community garden and create a welcoming space for learning and connection.” Lund added, “These workshops are a great opportunity for residents to gather, grow, and appreciate the beauty of gardening together.”
