A power outage has led to the temporary closure of parts of Paso Robles City Hall and the Paso Robles City Library. According to city officials, both facilities are without electricity as repairs are underway.
Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) estimates that power will remain out for the rest of the day while crews address the issue. As a result, the library will be closed for the remainder of the day, and access to the main City Hall lobby is not available.
Despite these closures, certain city services continue to operate from the City Council Chambers due to an ongoing remodel project on the upper floor. Services such as utility billing, development permitting, and City Clerk functions remain accessible through the south-facing doors of the chambers. Signage has been posted to direct residents.
City officials expect all affected facilities to reopen tomorrow morning but have stated they will provide updates if circumstances change. Residents are advised to monitor prcity.com and official city social media channels for further information.
In a statement, city representatives said: “We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding and thank PG&E for their quick response and ongoing repair efforts.”
