The City of Paso Robles will hold a public discussion on food truck regulations during the City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, December 16, 2025. The meeting will take place at 6:00 p.m. in the Norris Room at Centennial Park, located at 600 Nickerson Drive.

The council will review recommendations from the Food Truck Ad Hoc Committee and discuss findings from two committee meetings. City staff are set to present an overview of the existing municipal code section that regulates food trucks and food truck courts, as well as provide analysis on the subject. Community members will have an opportunity to share their input during the session.

Food trucks in Paso Robles are defined by city code as vending vehicles selling food or beverages from an operable motorized coach or trailer with current Department of Motor Vehicles registration and a valid food safety permit recognized by San Luis Obispo County Environmental Health Services Division. Further details about these regulations can be found online at www.prcity.com/foodtrucks.

For those unable to attend in person, the meeting will be livestreamed at www.prcity.com/youtube. Public comments can also be made live via telephone by calling (805) 865-7276 just before the meeting begins.

Written comments may be submitted by email to planning@prcity.com or mailed to the Community Development Department at 1000 Spring Street, Paso Robles, CA 93446. Comments received by noon on the day of the meeting will be added as an agenda addendum.

The staff report for this agenda item will be available prior to the meeting at www.prcity.com/meetings.
