The City of Paso Robles announced on Apr. 6 that it has started preparations for the 2026 Independence Day Celebration, which will take place at Barney Schwartz Park. The city is inviting local businesses and organizations to participate as sponsors in what officials describe as a landmark event.
The upcoming celebration is expected to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States, making it a significant occasion for residents and visitors alike. Organizers say the event aims to bring together the community in a display of patriotism and unity.
According to city officials, Paso Robles’ annual Fourth of July festivities have traditionally attracted thousands each year. The 2026 edition is planned to include live music, local food vendors, and a Fun Zone with carnival games, bounce houses, and an obstacle course suitable for all ages. A fireworks show will conclude the day’s events. Admission and parking will remain free, with first-come, first-served RV parking available overlooking the park.
Officials emphasize that community partnerships are essential for staging this large-scale event. “Sponsors play a vital role in bringing the celebration to life while demonstrating a strong commitment to the Paso Robles community,” said organizers in their announcement.
Sponsorship opportunities include both financial contributions and in-kind donations of goods or services. Sponsors are promised visibility through social media promotion, printed materials, on-site recognition during the event, access to an exclusive VIP/Sponsor Zone with food and beverages, reserved parking spaces, and premium viewing areas for fireworks.
