On Sunday, April 6, former Atascadero High School standout Anthony Cannavino’s current college team, the Newman Jets, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Pittsburg State Gorillas.
The game took place at McCarthy Field. This was their third matchup against the Gorillas this season.
The Jets’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 11 a.m. at Eck Stadium against Wichita State Shockers.
