On Friday, Feb. 28, former Morro Bay High School standout Peyton Schemmer’s current college team, the Syracuse Orange, won 8-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens.
The game took place at Delaware Softball Diamond. This was their second matchup against the Fightin’ Blue Hens this season.
The Orange’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 10 a.m. at Delaware Softball Diamond against Morgan State Bears.
