On Sunday, March 30, former Morro Bay High School standout Peyton Schemmer’s current college team, the Syracuse Orange, lost 10-9 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Carolina Tar Heels.
The game took place at Skytop Softball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Tar Heels this season.
The Orange’s next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at Shirley Clements Mewborn Field against Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
