Roman Benedetti, a former standout at Mission College Preparatory Catholic High School and now a member of the CMS Stags, is set to participate in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The team will open the tournament against the Aurora Spartans.
The opening game is scheduled for Friday, March 6 at 2:20 p.m. at Mitchell Hall Fieldhouse.
Chris Caudillo earned First Team All-American honors after finishing seventh in the men’s 1,500-meter race at NCAA Outdoor Championships. His performance helped Cal Poly tie for its fifth highest team finish ever and contributed to a program-record five outdoor All-Americans.
Lexi Evans earned First Team All-American honors with a record-breaking performance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Her achievement marks a milestone for Cal Poly’s women’s track program.
Cal Poly has announced that LSU transfer Allyn Brewer will join its beach volleyball roster for 2027. Brewer brings experience as an award-winning indoor player from Texas and comes from an athletic family background.
