Cal Poly men’s tennis will begin its 2026 spring season with an away match against the University of California, Berkeley. The game is scheduled for Friday at 10 a.m. at the Hellman Tennis Complex in Berkeley.

This matchup marks an early nonconference test for the Mustangs before they start their Big West conference schedule. The team is coming off a developmental 2025 season, which included reaching the quarterfinals of the Big West Championship and gaining experience with a young roster. Returning players include Sean Kamyshev, Raz Haviv, Jack Cross, Sean Ferguson, and Aaron Eliscu.

During the fall, Cal Poly’s team made quarterfinal appearances in several tournaments and achieved victories at the ITA Southwest Regionals against nationally competitive opponents in both singles and doubles events.

After opening their season on the road, Cal Poly will host two matches at Ronca Tennis Center: one against Saint Mary’s on January 31 and another versus New Mexico on February 2. The program encourages fans to attend these home matches and support the team.
