On Tuesday, March 11, former Atascadero High School standout Anthony Cannavino’s current college team, the Newman Jets, won 15-14 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm.
The game took place at McCarthy Field. This was their third matchup against the Crimson Storm this season.
The Jets’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 2 p.m. at McCarthy Field against Missouri Western Griffons.
