A storm drain line crossing Embarcadero Road, located north of Beach Street, has failed causing damage to the roadway. The Public Works Department hired a contractor to expose the area around the storm drain and has identified a failure of the storm drain line extending to both sides of Embarcadero Road.
Traffic will be detoured in both directions through parking areas for next several days until repairs have been completed. Due to the higher amount of traffic along the waterfront, City staff encourages drivers to please obey all temporary construction signs and directions from construction personnel.
